H ave you
ever thought about how toilets work? The T team has thought for you.
This website showcases toilets as a
sociotechnical system for social impact
(hygiene and sanitation). To this end, the TTeam analyzed toilets’s
technical components, how they work, and their
social impact on societies. Our analysis is
based on the different types of toilets used in
China, Paraguay,
Saudi Arabia, and
Turkey. Our findings show that toilets play a
fundamental role in a society, including health and sanitation purposes.
Therefore, we recommend an universal toilet that helps to address the
social issues.
